Over the past two weeks, I'm completely avoided Netgalley and requesting review books. I did get one surprise book for review, but I've been working at chipping away at my massive pile of review books rather than requesting anything new.

Rex Regis by L. E. Modesitt Jr. - Thanks to Tor for this surprise. I think this is book 8 in this series and I haven't had a chance to read the previous books, but hopefully soon!.

Cress by Marissa Meyer - I finally got around to getting a finished copy. So good! Review.
Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo
Throne of Glass by Sarah Maas
Great books! I didn't read them but I heard some great things about them.

I still really need to start that Marissa Meyer trilogy ... I have the first two books sitting on my shelf! And I did intend to read Throne of Glass, but I gave it away. Isn't it high fantasy? I've heard really good things about it ...

Great haul of books! It's been a long time since I read anything by L E Modesitt and I haven't read a single book in that series! Loved Throne of Glass, one of my favorite books of last year :)

Cress was soooo good! It is one of my favorites so far this year :) I have yet to read Throne of Glass but have heard such great things!

ReplyDeleteThrone of Glass is so good! Chaol is amazing and the story itself is very exciting. I loved Cress and I've also heard so many great things about Shadow and Bone. I'm thinking of starting it once the entire trilogy is released. I hope you enjoy all of your books :)

ReplyDeleteI loved Cress, and the cover is so pretty! I really enjoyed Throne of Glass, but it took me about a third of the book to really get into it. The second book is super action-packed, so that definitely changed. Happy reading :)
