ARC August Recap

I'm going to consider ARC August a small success for me. I had originally planned to read 5 physical ARCs, but I only managed to get through two. However, I did make it through 3 eARCs, so I guess that amounts to the 5 I had originally planned. And I did read Truth or Dare, which is one of the physical ARCs I was behind with. So some catch-up has occurred. Here's the list of what I made it through:

1. Truth or Dare by Jacqueline Green
2. The Woken Gods by Gwenda Bond
3. Florence by Ciye Cho
4. Gideon Smith and the Mechanical Girl by David Barnett (review to come in September)
5. The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black (review to come on Monday)

So I just barely met my goal of 5 ARCs, so it's a success, although next year I hope I can get through even more!

ARC August

Due to my hiatus in May and June, my review pile is still out of control. So when I found out about ARC August, hosted by Read Sleep Repeat, I knew I needed to sign up. This challenge for me will be about catching up on the physical books publishers and authors have been kind enough to send me (and I feel bad that I've had some of them for months). I have a few ebooks to read this month as well, plus a ton in case I finish up the physical copies. Here's my physical book pile:
