So I've joined in on another meme: Friday 56 from Freda's Voice.
Rules:
*Grab a book, any book.
*Turn to page 56.
*Find any sentence, (or few, just don't spoil it) that grabs you.
*Post it.
This week I decided to continue with Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Here's my Friday 56 Pick:
"A fortunate chance had recommended him [Mr. Collins] to Lady Catherine de Bourgh, who had been forced to behead her previous rector when he succumbed to the walking death."
I really wanted a zombie quote, but this was the closest thing I could find on page 56!
I'm curious about this one. I may end up buying the graphic novel version of it. Love the quote, though: '...forced to behead her previous rector...'
ReplyDeleteSounds good...thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to read this one, but haven't gotten around to it yet.
ReplyDeleteZombies, OH MY!! Thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteDarcy and Zombies makes an interesting combination! Is it fun?
ReplyDeleteI read this one a couple of years ago. Wasn't for me. I prefer the actually book rather than the mash up.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds awesome! :)
ReplyDeleteI've heard so much about it ... but find the combo a little odd. so never did try it. maybe i will. i have a weird sense of humour hahahaha...
